Thalia Philip

Thalia Philip (she/her/hers) is a second-year student at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in the Sociomedical Sciences department. Thalia’s work during the Global Practica focused on assisting Dr. Kathleen Pike in developing a Mental Health Work Index in partnership with Ethisphere and One Mind at Work with the mission of promoting mental well-being and the importance of mental healthcare within the workforce. Thalia along with the Resource team created assessments for various organizations to measure where they stand when it came to commitment to employee mental well-being. She also worked on providing carefully curated resources to the organizations based on the assessments that have been made on their existing mental health programs in order to improve the organization’s overall mental health compliance.
