Stacey Weinstein

Stacey graduated from the George Washington University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and French. She graduated from St. John’s University School of Law in 1991 where she was a member of the law journal and a published author. After practicing law for several years Stacey returned to Hunter College of the City University of New York where she completed her coursework towards a masters degree in elementary education while working at the Hewitt School.
Stacey currently serves as a trustee on the board of trustees at the Riverdale Country School, is a member of the Wellness Committee there, and prior to that was active in the parents association and volunteered in the lower school library. Stacey volunteered for several years in a creative writing program at the 92nd Street Y Nursery School and is currently a member of their Alumni Committee. Stacey also sits on the board of trustees of 120 East End Avenue.
Stacey and her husband Gregg founded a perinatal bereavement counseling program at Mt. Sinai Hospital which provides counseling to women who suffer from all stages of pregnancy loss and newborn fatalities. In her free time Stacey enjoys taking parenting classes, ceramics classes, and being active outdoors. Stacey lives in New York and East Hampton with her husband and four children.
