Michaella Baker

Michaella Baker graduated from  the Yale School of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health. Her Master’s Thesis looked at the impact of Affordable Care Act Medicaid expansions among young adults with mental illness in the U.S. She graduated from Yale University in 2016 with a B.A. in History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. During undergrad, she was selected as a Global Health Scholar and founded a global health fundraising organization called TeamU. Michaella has had internships at the ABC News Medical Unit, the Columbia Program for Global Mental Health, and Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health, where she published research on mental health policy in Connecticut.  She has conducted fieldwork in Honduras and Rwanda, and recently returned from Bali where she became a certified yoga instructor. She is currently a Fellow at Global Health Strategies in New York City.
