Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Kim grew up in Westchester, New York, graduating with a B.S. from the University of Delaware. Over the next two decades she pursued a career in retailing that included several senior positions at Macy’s, J. Crew and Judith Leiber, all in New York.
In 2004, Kim moved to Tokyo with her family for her husband’s job. There, for five years, she became an active member of PTA at the American School in Japan. Her family moved to Hong Kong in 2009 where Kim became involved in a number of volunteering commitments including International Care Ministry in the Philippines and Hong Kong. She is also a Cotillion Patron and Girl Scout leader in addition to working as a consultant on international projects for Limited Brands. Kim is an avid runner and hiker.Back to previous page
