Joya Bhattacharyya

Joya Bhattacharyya (she/her/hers) is a second-year graduate student at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in the Epidemiology department with a certificate in Population Mental Health. Joya’s work during the Global Practica involved testing the ICD-11 Clinical Descriptions and Diagnostic Requirements for Mental, Behavioral or Neurodevelopment Disorders, with the supervision of Dr. Tahilia Rebello and Dr. Geoffrey Reed. She primarily worked to examine the clinical utility and global applicability of the diagnostic requirements for Personality Disorders. Joya also assisted in creating online ICD-11 training modules for mental health professionals around the world.
