What Works for Reducing HIV Stigma: Lessons from a Decade of Global Efforts

On January 16th, HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies Rounds will be presented by Dr. Laura Nyblade, Fellow in the Division for Global Health at RTI International and Senior Technical Advisor for Stigma and Discrimination for the Health Policy Plus Project. She has led the design, roll out, and evaluation of evidence-based HIV stigma reduction programs, the development of programmatic tools to engage multiple audiences, and the development and validation of stigma measures. Dr. Nyblade is currently leading work focused on reducing stigma in health facilities, and is interested in applying lessons learned globally to the US context, both for HIV and opioid use disorder stigmas.
