This University Seminar will provide a conceptual framework for understanding the social determinants of mental health and their links with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Key challenges in designing and delivering interventions to address the social determinants of mental health, particularly in low and middle-income countries, will be identified, and current projects and potential future research questions will be outlined.
