Event Description: Dr. Brooks will discuss her adaptation of the Friendship Bench Intervention for adolescents living with HIV and the incorporation and training of near peer lay counselors. She will also discuss the role of implicit bias and poor cultural responsiveness in patient care and minority physician experience in medicine from both a global and local perspective.
