Generation Mental Health is thrilled to announce our second annual conference, Global Mental Health: Agents of Change, will be taking place virtually November 19-21 2021. This event aims to provide young people, particularly those with lived experience, practical tools to implement equitable mental health solutions. Conference agenda:

Day 1, Setting the Scene: discussions around the most pressing issues in mental health including climate change, the legacy of racism and colonialism, as well as the political economy of mental health.

Dr. Tahilia Rebello, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Steering Committee Member of the Columbia Global Mental Health Programs, will be providing the keynote address at 6pm-6:50pm EST.

Day 2, Assessing Populations and Needs: survey across different populations including homeless and prison populations, feature conversations and sexuality and gender as well as refugee and immigrant mental health. Attendees on day 2 will also be able to work with mentors, network with other attendees, and attend workshops to help them delve further into what is most important to them in their mental health work.

Day 3, Impact: conversations on policy making, innovation, community driven care, and lived experience leadership, as well as further workshops and mentorship sessions for further opportunity to sharpen impact ideas.
