This panel discussion, sponsored by the Mailman School’s Global Health Initiative and ICAP, focused on the changing health needs of refugees and displaced people in the 21st century, focusing on the Syrian crisis. Noting the increased duration of displacement, the urbanization of refugees (in cities as well as refugee camps), and the health burden of refugees from middle income countries.
