In these are extraordinary times, we remain committed to supporting our mental health and allied professionals, as well as trainees working with low-resource and/or underserved populations exposed to adversities worldwide.
To this end, the Columbia Teachers College’s Global Mental Health Lab has decided to move the 2020 GMHSI online!
Due to the new format, registration cost is significantly reduced to $775.00 for all attendees.
Institute instructors, Lena Verdeli, PhD, MSc, Kathy Clougherty, LCSW & Peter Ventevogel, MD, will conduct this 6-day intensive training online via interactive webinars (May 15th-20th; 9am – 5pm EST everyday).
We will ensure synchronous instruction: your learning experience will be structured as it would in person. You, other participants, and the GMHSI instructors will interact together virtually in a shared online meeting place through video conferencing, teleconferencing, live chatting, and virtual break out-groups.
Our team will support you to participate each day using Zoom audio/video technology, interactive whiteboards and chat features to ensure real-time discussion, Q&A and active participation. You will only need a stable internet connection to participate.
