Speaker bios:

Dr. Anjali Sharma, Senior Research Technical Advisor and ZCAP Site Principal Investigator, Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ)

Dr. Sharma is a researcher based at the Centre for Disease Research Zambia (CIDRZ) supporting implementation science to improve HIV, women’s health, and child health services. Her main research has focused on examining different models of delivering Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) to make recommendations for effectiveness (viral load suppression), cost-effectiveness and efficiencies. She is also interested in the application of evidence-based approaches to treat substance use and mental health issues among persons living with HIV. Dr. Sharma leads the Social and Behavioral Science Unit at CIDRZ to further develop qualitative study and intervention design skills among young Zambian Global Health scientists.

Ms. Tukiya Kanguya, Research Coordinator and ZCAP Study Director, Centre for Infectious Disease Research In Zambia (CIDRZ)

Ms. Kanguya is a global mental health researcher within the Social and Behaviour Science unit at CIDRZ. Her research interests focus on the intersection between mental health and infectious diseases such as HIV. She aims to conduct impactful research that has the potential to directly inform mental health policy in Zambia.

Ms. Chipo Chitambi, Data Coordinator and ZCAP Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ)

Ms. Chitambi has managed and analyzed complex data for programs such as Cervical Cancer Prevention, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision, and provision of Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) services in Zambia. She contributed to patient-reported outcome and HIV clinical data management and analysis for the ZCAP trial.
