The Global Mental Health Program hosts a competitive summer internship for undergraduates interested in the growing field of global mental health. Students will be exposed to a wide range of didactic seminars and experiential learning opportunities, will be mentored by 1-3 departmental faculty focused on various global mental health initiatives, and will gain extensive exposure for networking and shadowing within the healthcare environment. Limited to rising juniors and seniors in their undergraduate careers, the summer internship will run for 8 weeks from early June to early August, with students working 4 days a week with the GMHP.
Applications are now open on a rolling basis for 2019 interns using the link below. All applications are due by January 30, 2019, 5 pm ET. Interviews will be conducted from January 15 to March 1, 2019. Selected students will be notified of interviews and final decisions in the weeks to follow.
At this time, internships are unpaid. A stipend may be available for some students. Please contact us to enquire about financial support.
